Impurities either remain in solution or settle as anode slime. This process ensures high efficiency and ultra-high purity (up to 99.99%), making it essential in jewelry, electronics, and industrial applications. Common electrolytes include cyanide, sulfuric acid, or chloride solutions, depending on the target metal.
